Raheens fought their way back but Mark Gibbons and two Shane Farrell points kept the scoreboard ticking over. Kilcock Hope's were increased when the Raheens corner back was sent off for an off the ball incident. The lads got off to a super start with an Eoin Hayes goal. Just before half-time Eoin Hayes got Kilcock's second goal and they went in 2-3 to 0-7 up at the break. Hard luck to our minor footballers who were beaten this evening by Raheens in Hawkfield in the Championship Quarter-Final.

Kilcock will be hoping to put things right this evening and seal their place in the Quarter-Final. Kilcock finished second in their group behind Monasterevan, who automatically qualified for the Quarter-Final stage of the competition, after beating Kilcock by a point in the last game. It is a game Kilcock are disappointed to have left behind them considering the amount of chances they missed.
